About Big Sky Tree Care

Hello! My name is Jake, and I started Big Sky Tree Care when I witnessed the unfortunate trend of increasing prices of tree care in Gallatin Valley, while the quality of work was decreasing. It is my goal to combat this trend by creating meaningful relationships in the communities that I work and by providing care and attention to detail at my clients' properties. I love the aesthetic that healthy trees bring to the neighborhood, and I love sharing that with my community. 

When I am not climbing trees, you can find my dog and me trail running, skiing, rock climbing, and otherwise enjoying the mountains around southwest Montana. I am from Western North Carolina, where the trees grow tall and fast! I moved to Bozeman late in 2018 and immediately fell in love with the area and the community.

It is my goal to provide an exceptional service with unmatched quality at an affordable price. We intentionally run a small outfit so we can give you a personalized experience, and you always know both who you are talking to and who is coming out to your property.

It is my goal to develop trust and build relationships that last for years. I utilize pruning and removal standards that are in line with ANSI A300 Tree care standards for the safety of both my team and your property. I will treat your trees and property as if it is my own.
